To make a firm booking please write enclosing a signed booking form and a cheque to the value of 20% of the total cost of your holiday including the breakages deposit and linen hire. We will then send a receipt and confirm your booking. The balance is due two months prior to the starting date of the holiday.
If you are booking a visit less than two months before it starts please send the full amount including the breakages deposit and the cost of any linen hire.
If the hirer fails to pay the balance by the due date we reserve the right to cancel the booking. If this situation arises we will retain the deposit.

If you cancel your visit up to four weeks before the start of your holiday we will keep the deposit and refund you the balance from your booking.
If you cancel less than four weeks before your visit we’ll try our best to let the property for you. If we can let the property we’ll only retain your deposit but refund your balance less 5%.
If you should cancel the holiday less two weeks before your visit there will be no refund.

Bookings are from 4 pm on the day of arrival to 10.00 am on the day of departure. If you’d like to drop your bags off at Alma House after 10 am we can look after them for you while you shop or do some sightseeing.
General
In the unlikely event that a problem with the cottage does arise please inform us so that we can deal with it promptly.
The cottage should be left in a clean and tidy condition.
A refundable deposit of £50.00 is required against damage to the property and its contents. This does not limit the liability of visitors to pay for any damage they may cause.
The cottage is not to be sublet or to have more than six occupants. If these terms are broken the let will immediately be terminated without refund or compensation.
We reserve the right to undertake any urgent repairs in the cottage and to maintain the garden.
